Felicity is a British actress that gained notoriety for her role as Jane Hawking, the protagonist of The Theory of Everything. Jones began acting at the age of twelve years old. She has worked as actress in numerous plays, television shows, and films. The first film she appeared in was The Treasure Seekers, a film on television. Then she played Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch as well as The sequel Weirdsister college. Her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she was a part of), Young Ruth, she went on to play in other movies. In The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she became a household name for her work. The most notable was her performance on The Theory of Everything that earned her the Oscar for the first time. Jones received widespread praise for her portrayal of Hawking's first wife. This film based on the story of Stephen Hawking. Inferno was the second film she starred in with Tom Hanks. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles presented Jones the British Artist of the Year in 2016 for her remarkable talents and contributions to the film.
