Sara Gilbert has a long and notable profession as an American actress. She has appeared in numerous films and television series. She is also co-host as well as creator of the popular daytime talk program The Talk. On Roseanne, the TV show Roseanne, she performed the role of Darlene Conner Healy. The role earned 2 Primetime Emmy Award nods. Apart from the character she's famous for, on the hit television show Leslie Winkle was also a memorable character in The Big Bang Theory. She's appeared in films including Poison Ivy The Big Tease, as well as Light It Up. Gilbert has also attempted making and directing films. Gilbert, upon coming to terms with her sexual orientation did not want to discuss the issue publicly. Her first love affair in the course of her acting career started with Johnny Galecki, before she recognized that she was gay. Following their breakup she started dating Allison Adler. Just before the launch of her talk show, Sara Gilbert publicly came out. In 2014, she got married to singer Linda Perry.
